Carlina Home Remodeling
Carlina Home Remodeling is a small contracting company specializing in home remodeling projects. I helped them establish a stronger brand with custom illustration assets, physical marketing projects like posters and flyers, and redesigning their website. I also created a design survey form that is featured on their website and is still used today. I coded their website to be responsive to different browsers (mobile, tablet, etc) and I customized it per their minimalist and straightforward values. Included in my web design services, I also wrote descriptive content for each page.
Christine Irwin Therapy Services
Christine Irwin, a therapist and clinical social worker based in Indiana, commissioned a logo from me for her private practice. Her requested themes revolved around living in the present, friendship, and engagement with nature and physical activity--bike riding in particular. I worked with Christine to draft some concepts and narrow down designs. The final product is a flexible logo with bright and lively colors featuring two cycling friends on an upward journey supported by the shape of a heart.
the stratospheres
The Stratospheres is a band from Bloomington, Indiana with an indie-rock sensibility and an affinity for celestial bodies. I worked with this band to create three covers for their singles Fall Apart, Breathe You In, and Standstill. The band requested imagery that felt scrappy and bold while still using their signature outer space imagery. We settled on a D.I.Y. messy scrapbook theme. Keeping in mind this would be a three-part release, I stuck with a primary color scheme and added additional paper tears to the background of each image depending on release order.
I also created a promotional poster for the band's performance at Realfest 2023 displaying vague caricatures of each band member, a starry sky, and graphic typography.
dog city nyc
Dog City NYC is a dog daycare, transportation, boarding, and grooming company with several locations across New York. As a gift for the company's loyal clients, I was commissioned to create custom stickers of selected clients' dogs that we took care of. After spending months with these pups as a Handler for the company, I was able to easily capture the distinct personality of each of the 31 selected dogs and translated them to little icons with the company's vibrant orange color used in their marketing.
Westfield Marching band
I voluntarily contributed my graphic design work for the Westfield High School Marching Band percussion section several times during my time with the school. These are some of the logos I illustrated that were to be printed on jackets for the section members featuring instrument designs like the bass drum and a drum stick paired with bold and sharp lettering in the school's iconic green and white colors.
